PCCW Solutions has been awarded in all four service categories under the latest Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services (SOA-QPS4) to offer HKSAR government offices and divisions various professional IT services for 48 months starting July 31, 2017. SOA-QPS4 categories include (Category 1) pre-implementation services and independent program/project management services; (category 2) ongoing services; (category 3) combined systems implementation and development services; and (Category 4) information security and independent testing services. The Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services 4 (SOA-QPS4) proposed by HKSAR`s Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) is part of the government`s IT outsourcing strategy, which aims to increase its IT service delivery capacity and accelerate the delivery of IT solutions to support the growing demand for quality e-government services. Under SOA-QPS4, the contract value cap is significantly increased by 50% from $10 million to $15 million, allowing contractors to participate in larger, higher-value projects. The Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services 4 (SOA-QPS4) expands the government`s utility delivery capacity and accelerates the delivery of IT solutions to support the growing demand for quality e-government services.
